I expect funding has increased since POTUS Obama has no chance of being reelected PO1 William "Chip" Nagel. This mere fact enabled to two democrats to run for the office and 17 republicans initially.

The Republican spending is due to forming a circular firing squad. Half of it was against Trump. Currently, estimates are $1B on either side. Ridiculous!
