Al Qaeda is Sunni and Iran is Shia. The Arab Spring Holiday of Blood has been mostly Sunni's and Shia murdering each other. With Syrian minority of about 11% in power over the majority 78% Sunni.
The last time AQ had a safe haven it started a global war. Some of which is still ongoing. I wonder what the agenda Biden is on will be with AQ having a safe base and no telling what other Islamic terrorists desiring Jewish and Infidel heads with them.
