I have an art background but possess a very different mindset from many of my peers (thank-you Fort Bragg), most especially when I was attending OSU. This is a very typical thing for some demographics of artists to do as they believe there must be an element to "shock" the viewer. Meh. She is simply trying to get her 15 minutes.
