Let us hope this information is correct in light of the recent massacre at the Jewish synagogue. Thanks for posting this, PO1 William "Chip" Nagel .

From the photos shown of one of the bombs it doesn't appear that the Post Office canceled the stamps. That leads me to believe the packages were placed by an operative instead.
