I agree with what he did and would have done the same but part of me does not want to let the guys get off free. But then I really do not know the details other than what we have read in the media and I don't trust those guys.

Why? If I go to China and am arrested because I am suspected of stealing something... I don't expect the US government to get involved unless I was there on official business. If I am convicted and sent to prison, I expect our government to do what they can to ensure I'm treated humanely, however I don't expect a get out of jail free card.

I'm sure there will be some spin on it to make the players the victims and the POTUS to be the bad guy.

The only "bad" thing I can see is, it wouldn't have happened for some nobodies, but these guys are athletes. But, I think it had more to do with timing of his Asia trip and the fact they were well know that it was on his radar. A bit of "luck"For those involved.
I personally dislike DJT, however in this case hats off to him and guilty or not let the suffer repercussions at home.
