There are three separate co- equal branches of government, writing laws isn't an Executive Branch responsibility. I'm sure Priebus knows that and if the president doesn't, he will soon learn.

Nothing like this would pass the smell test for 1st Amendment. I think he knows that, or at least hope so. With all the pending investigations he needs to be more vs. less transparent. Even though this isn't directly related to transparency it still gives people with an axe to grind more ammo. He's his own worst enemy at times and it's unfortunate because with a stacked deck of Republican control he should be able to achieve a lot. If he keeps up the status quo of what he's been doing he will be hounded relentlessly. Whether you like him or not you should like the USA and want us to be successful, and this fox and hounds game gets us nowhere fast.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - I agree. I think, if nothing else, that this administration is showing that the Constitutional system and separation of powers is working, generally, as it should.

SP5 Christine Conley - He knows what he's fighting for. As does anyone who cares to look at what decisions he's making and what he chooses to act on.

He is hopefully learning as he goes, and I believe he thinks being "unpredictable" is part of his negotiating style. I don't know to what level his advisors are able to get through to him or how much he truly knows about challenges he makes to the separation of powers i.e. the Constitution. It may be "crazy like a fox" or it may just be his random bursts of activity that he believes keeps people off balance and wondering about his next move. I think we can agree that it is a style America is not accustomed to, but that was one of his selling points to his supporters. Meaning being to be unpredictable, unconventional and always pushing the envelope with his words and actions. He was elected and his base seems to be solid, so we will have to be accustomed to his spontaneity and also informed on the impact of his decisions. He is likely not going to change because this is how he has been throughout his career and he believes this is how his base wants him to "perform".

The article you picked is really short on details. Before we get our panties in a bunch; what kind of changes are we talking about? Or is the only detail that matters is President Trump said it :)

Maj John Bell - At this point, just like every citizen. I am limited to raising my voice in opposition and writing my Congress critters. That is how Citizens in a democracy are supposed to handle these thing,
I would also say work to make sure the I vote for people that will oppose him, but in Delaware that will do little good since anyone supporting Trump would have less chance than a snowball in hell. But I will vote anyway
