Thanks for the share! Things like this are usually never completely forgotten only sometimes temporarily replaced by another horrendous disaster. Just in my lifetime alone I know of so many and the one that hit me hardest was the 1988 Pan Am 103 Flight that blew up over Lockerbie, England. I had reservations with my family for that flight but canceled a couple weeks prior because of other priorities that came up and only had another 11 months left on my tour and decided to instead take a longer PCS leave when heading back to the US. It was the only flight I ever canceled in my life and I was so grateful for myself and my family that we felt compelled to postpone our family holiday another year. That day 259 people died in the air and another 11 on the ground by debris falling from the sky. I have a list with all the names but the article doesn’t go into to much detail besides the list of names; CNN used to have a real good article on it but can’t find it anymore. https://www.aljazeera.com/programmes/lockerbie/2014/03/lockerbie-270-victims [login to see] 40135389.html
