I was there at the same time with the 101st Airborne. I would just like to add that there were many more acts of courage and heroism that went undocumented, unseen or not noticed. Combat brings out the best and the worst of humanity.

A Friend Of Mine, Thomas Wesley" Tom" Croff, Whom I've Known Since 7th Grade Home Room, Also Served With The 101 St Airborne Combat Division, In The 70's. Tom Did 2 Tours In Vietnam & EARNED A Purple With A Cluster.. Tom Never Spoke To Me About It,
