Interesting share LTC Eric Udouj . Voice of America (VOA) was widely broadcasted into Europe during WWII and also Eastern Europe during the Cold War. VOA brought a little of America to the world. It is no coincidence that planned economies have to erect walls to keep people in - capitalist countries have walls to keep people out...

At the time we had some good structure in our thoughts - especially with Radio Free Europe and Radio Free Asia and VOA... that was a good basis of the planning. I would add in USIA as the later leg to that. And those broadcasts made their way inside those countries....
