By putting their fingers in their ears, scrunching their eyes tightly shut, and all chanting the narrative they wished were true. How else does fantasy look like reality?!

LTC David Brown by what I heard, the same way they didn't see all the security video, they didn't want to. If it didn't fit into their narrative they didn't want anything to do with it.

Anyone with half a brain knew this. The real problem is those who were on the ground were not thinking about the repercussions and we now know what those were.
