PO1 Tony Holland You do know that this is only wishful thinking on the part of Trump Haters. Mueller has no authority to issue or even request such an order.

Misleading headline and all speculation. A former Watergate prosecutor said he "could" request a judge issue a gag order. The judge says she "might be inclined" to issue one. Unless it was a strategic move to add to obstruction if Trump fired the judge, I think Mueller would be wary of such a move. It would not be well received and could lead to his removal. The optics might make Mueller appear as being above the POTUS. In terms of the law it might be permissible, but not wise IMO.

OMG - That may be an interesting approach!!! Raises many privilege & immunity questions. Perhaps the order could put an end to the president's constant and annoying public tweets. Much Love, Sandy :)
