After reading the account, seems to me to be Murder1, no question. It was an entrapment, might not be the best word, situation. I don't see it ever tipping in to the realm of self defense.

Yep no Castle defense here! You can't lure someone and then say it was defense

In addition to luring them into a fight self defense goes out the window when you shoot someone in the back
