I sent this off to my best friend. He has been collecting coins since we were kids. Every time we got change from buying a Candy Bar or Soda Pop, he would check both before you spent your coins, and again after you got your change. It was a habit for those of us who hung around him. Even his Sister and Parents made sure he saw their change first. LOL

I did the same thing!! I worked for a guy who used to collect them too and one day he just gave me two styrofoam cups full of all kinds of coins. Mostly they were wheat pennies. But my step-dad buys and sells so if you or you friends are also looking to sell then feel free to reach out to him.

I don't collect anything but dust. LOL But my friend has a quiet little circle of coin lovers - most of them are like him, very quiet- not shy, just private type folks. We were always on the lookout when we were kids - for Indian head nickels, Buffalo Nickels, and Pennies before the turn of the century...stuff like that. Good luck with your new store!

I did and still am. I am a (novice) coin collector myself. I keep getting caught going to google to look up some of these. Like, I was unaware of the North Africa US Dollars. I was also looking to see if he had any star notes.
If I had some money to throw around, he would get it.
