Accounts of alleged sexual violence coming out of Ukraine in recent weeks have been grim. A woman raped repeatedly by a Russian soldier after her husband was killed outside Kyiv. A mother of four gang raped by Russian soldiers in Kherson. The body of a Ukrainian woman found dead — naked and branded with a swastika. A woman raped by a Russian commander on the day tanks entered the village of Kalyta.
The number of reports that have emerged since the start of the war in late February suggests that rape in Ukraine at the hands of Russian soldiers may be widespread. Those fears were further crystallized earlier this month following the Russian withdrawal from Bucha, a suburb of the capital Kyiv, where some two dozen women and girls were "systematically raped" by Russian forces, according to Ukraine's ombudswoman for human rights, Lyudmyla Denisova.

Someone needs to remind Russia that this is not 200 BC when raping and pillaging were the perks of war.

Putin wants land, Putin wants to end Ukraine sovereignty. He won't stop at Ukraine next will be Moldova. He's got Nukes he's already declaring in Russian state media that the west has started WWIII. Biden, NATO, The European Union, everyone is trying to do what they can without triggering a war. If NATO sends in troops that's Putin's justification for an all out war. Every big boy is this fight has nukes. I rather not see anyone launch them over a missile measuring contest. International balance is on the cusp of ending. The world is entering uncharted waters and we don't need to do something that will unhinge Putin.

PV2 Larry Sellnow Even if Putin was taken out someone else with the same cold war, Soviet union, sentimentality would replace him. There's no guarantee that the nation of Russia would even change it's current chartered course with a new leader.

MSG Stan Hutchison - We do not need to put combat troops at risk to do this. Reminding Potus Kennedy's XO not to assassinate heads of state would do it fine. Yes it is still in effect!

Have they no shame? Women are not "cumbuckets" nor do they need to be harmed in combat, unless they are soldiers. Even then the animals who abuse pows earn a special place in hell!
