I have yet to find anything exciting with my Metal Detector, but I know exactly where the pins that mark the corners of my lot are.

PV2 Scott Mollette Its a Garrett Ace 400, to be fair I do not live close to any beaches or significant historical sites either so have limited time in potentially good areas.

MSgt Dale Johnson - They passed a law where I live that all the street corners had to be wheel-chair compliant and I found a lot of old coins, silver dimes, Indian head pennies, Buffalo nickels etc. when they dug them up. Anywhere there's dirt I usually try to do it there, if it's not private property, and sometimes if you ask, the people will let you. Like I said, sometimes. Keep your coil to the soil Brother Dale and happy hunting. I just bought a Minelab Manticore and I Luv it. Check out schools and parks. You never know.
