Rare tensions between Assad's backers as Syria's war unwinds

I am glad there is friction between Russia and Iran. Maybe they're only in bed together for Mutual goals but they really don't trust each other.

What most Americans do not realize and this extends into the U.S. Army as well. Russia is run by a small clique of White Russians that are heavily bigoted and prejudiced and it was that way in Soviet times as well. If your not white, non Russian, not Russian Othordox in Religion...........your close to scum. If you think otherwise, just look at both the name of Putins Political Party as well as it's origins. Putin's political party is NOT ABOUT INCLUSION as we know the term in the West. Ask yourself, when was the last time you saw a non-White, non-Russian, non-Russian Orthodox MAN (as there doesn't seem to be any women) among Putin's inner circle on TV. Just is not going to happen.

So I always get a chuckle out of these news articles about a Russia - Iran alliance or the best is actually the alliance between Russia and Chechnya which some liberal rags go on and on about. These ARE NOT ALLIANCES like a NATO alliance because the Russians view Muslims as total scum and frequently refer to Islam as an "aggressive religion". They are alliances of convienence only and once the convienece or joint interest disappears, they hate each other. There is no way you would ever get a Russian Soldier and a Muslim Soldier to fight alongside each other without a significant amount of tension between them. You will never see Iranians under Russian command or vice versa. It would be a disaster.
