I obviously couldn't tell if that was for real or not, though in all likelihood many of you will doubtless tell me I should be able to discern the difference...sometimes, with Duffelblog material, it's actually quite hard to tell on occasion what's an effort at tongue-in-cheek humor, and what's for real...all I can think to say is, if it was a gag, it was, as I'd said, honestly quite hard for me to judge...if, on the other hand, it was serious, then, certainly, I'd find the very concept of such a thing positively appalling, of course...and, if it was in fact intended as a gag, I honestly wouldn't think to judge the humor of it, I guess I just have no ability that way, I suppose, honest...those are my thoughts, in any event, for whatever they might be worth....

Why did these recruits join the Marine Corp anyway? Once upon a time if he tested positive for high dose of cocaine, he would have ended up in the brig. The Marine corp should get rid of people who think its neat to get discharged for high doses of any drug. Personally I think that person was a disgrace to the Marine corp. When I was in (59-63) The Marine Corp owned your ass for the term of your enlistment. You were going to fullfill that enlistment even if it was in the Brig. Semper Fi.
