I don't think it's unreasonable for the government to be on the lookout for fraud. Would you rather the government do nothing and let people get away with as much fraud as they want? It's not like the Trump Administration is wanting to install cameras and microphones in people's houses.

If nothing else, this might deter some fraudsters from stealing taxpayers' money.

Maybe a good idea, do you know how many millions are spent on those who claim disability that aren't disabled. I can name 3 cases in the last 10 years just in my little neck of the woods that actually got caught and lost their disability. Hell there is a whole industry set up where lawyers would have paid doctors falsify medical reports so they could get their clients on disability.
