In earlier days In 1964 when i was a Cadet in Civil Air Patrol the USAF Auxiliary We had a summer encampment at Otis AFB, (Cape Cod), MA. There was an active BOMARC Missile complex there which we did get a tour of. At Otis AFB these missiles were under the control of ADC, Air Defense Command, USAF. Otis also had a Fighter interceptor Squadron of F101 Voodoo's (ADC) and radar aircraft, the EC120, Constellation also Wing unit of (ADC) The base also had KC97s in an Air Refueling Wing of (SAC) Strategic Air Command. There were also Army, chopper and fixed wing aircraft and Air Guard units with the F86 Sabre jets, stationed on the base.
