Total nonfarm payroll employment changed little in August, 2025 (+22,000) and has shown little change since April, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported today. The unemployment rate, at 4.3% percent, also changed little in August.

Whether you love or hate Trump and his policies, there is no doubt he is in the office trying to do what he said he would do. Trump very well may have more failures than Biden simply because he is trying, and all Biden did in four years was smile and be grandpa-like. Trump has thus far failed at getting peace in Ukraine but already did something Biden never did, Putin has come for a visit to chat. I would rather have a President that tries and fails than one who does nothing.
