Remembering AT1 Stephen Chartier, USN, KIA EC-121 Shootdown

Stephen Chartier was born on June 3, 1944 in Los Angeles County to Curtis Chartier and Winifred Alice Ulman .

Stephen was killed in action on April 15, 1969, when the EC-121 he was flying in was shootdown by North Korea. His awards include the Purple Heart, the National Defense Service Medal and the Korean Defense Service Medal.
