“There is considerable precedent for impeaching and removing lower-level federal judges. For Supreme Court justices, the number of precedents is much smaller: There is one case in which a Supreme Court justice was impeached but not removed, and no other examples.”

I remember when Obama was elected and had majorities in both houses of Congress. All the Democrats were going to investigate and try George Bush, have hearings and destroy Bush bla bla bla. Well what happened? NOTHING! That is what will happen when the Dems take over control of the house.

First, if they move to impeach Kavanaugh then they MUST also impeach House Reps. Keith Ellison, Tony Cárdenas, Bobby Scott, and Sen. Bob Menendez, all of them are Democrats who have also been accused of sexual misconduct. Secondly, the House of Representatives must first pass articles of impeachment by a simple majority. Then Senate tries the accused and requires 2/3 or 66 of them to vote for impeachment. The Senate is controlled by the Republicans and they wont vote to remove him. Case closed.
