Oh ya, the Blaze is going to put out anything supporting Biden. You do realize most of the high tech in use today evolved from military systems. I was using this thing called WWMCCS in the 70s to communicate with other military anywhere in the world. Then computers became commonplace and they developed this thing called Internet to communicate with other people anywhere in the world.

Maj John Bell But the government was targeting those spreading false information about Covid, not spreading it. I don't feel like getting into any discussions on the Covid vaccine. All I know is I've had every one plus all boosters, had no side effects, and never had Covid.

The broad principle is that the government should not "target" anyone for speaking on any issue unless the speech is patently illegal. Is it illegal to hold incorrect beliefs and to give voice to those incorrect beliefs? Do any of us really want to live in such a society.
In a free society suppression of lawful speech, even incorrect speech, is the end of the free society. The ONLY legitimate tool of the government is accurate information, well presented.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - Children are not adults and thus do not have the full-spectrum of rights consistent with reaching the age of majority. I believe that parents, who are not government, should determine to what books their children have access.
In direct response, no, I don't agree with "banning" books. But the right is not the only one "banning" books. "Huckleberry Finn" and "To Kill a Mockingbird" among many classics were banned from the shelves of public schools years ago. I for one hope the Turner Diaries are never seen by an adult, let alone a child. But I will defend the rights of the author and the printing house to create such hate literature.
The problem is one from the librarian, put whatever books you want on the shelves. But accept the responsibility and accountability of the decision and the position. Make sure the books are only seen by children whose parents don't object to their content. That makes librarian a high-risk position. If the librarians cannot control access or accept the career level risks, perhaps it would be best to keep them off the shelves and if parents purchased the controversial books from private sources.
Should we assume that EVERY book not on the shelves of a school is banned? Or that a risk vs reward assessment was made?
