I would love to see or hear some honest journalism. This is one of many important/critical issues facing We the People, about which we need real facts so we can support or criticize our government correctly. Based on other information that I've found, this seems to be misinformation used to misdirect our attention from the real culprits. Of course, I could be wrong because who knows whom we can believe?

CPT Jack Durish - Captain; The factor with the highest correlation to "crime reduction" is "swiftness and certainty of apprehension/disposition".
"Law breakers" don't worry about "punishment" unless they think that they will get caught/punished and where the odds of getting caught/punished are low then the level of punishment is almost irrelevant because the "law breakers" simply don't think that they will get caught/punished.

MAJ (Join to see) - Major; I don't think that we are supposed to ask that question because that would inevitably lead to someone asking if it was "The Left" or "The Right" putting on that pressure and the answer to that question would be "inconvenient".
