Report: North Korea scientists exempt from military conscription

No different than here. The children of the elite never served. That's why at 22 they are still ""Children"" while I was finishing my second enlistment. If they were in the military, what would they be doing?

We shouldn't be shocked by this sort of special treatment towards certain people in a society that is so far removed from the rest of the world. The country needs people like this working towards their "solutions" rather than standing guard at the DMZ.
