No excuse...PERIOD. Anyone that does this to anyone else does not deserve to be in society. You cannot rehab someone with that mentality. To use slavery as an excuse is utterly disgusting. Was slavery wrong...absolutely it was but there are other ways to show protest and make a statement. Taking someones life (what I mean is not murder...it is much worse as this young woman will relive this for the rest of her days and especially when he is released "on good behavior") is deplorable in our society and inexcusable...black, white, asian, latino, middle eastern etc...IT'S JUST WRONG AND THERE IS NO EXCUSE!!!
