They are still trying to throw as many wrenches as possible into advancing green tech! Where I am at they are using ranchers that use BLM land as an excuse to fight off three major solar farms trying to build on them.
The ranchers have had sweetheart grazing deals forever. Cattle ranching in the desert is really stupid considering how much water it takes to create single pound of beef. Back before refrigerated railroad cars and trucks it was important that every community could produce its own meat. It's not true anymore though and our local Cattle Ranchers couldn't even begin to produce enough meat just to feed our local population. Here it's more like hobby ranching and trying to live an old west lifestyle.
The solar farms would pay a lot more money to use the land then the ranchers do. But the local Republicans are raising a stink about the solar farms and not wanting BLM to allow it.

But I have oil and energy stocks and I have some control even though my American Military Thrift Savings Plan have less of a return on investment because of going green and I can't do anything about it. Last week, I just sold some stock and PBR Brazilian oil company and I made a $700 profit because it went up 20% in a month and a half.

LTC (Join to see) - You seem hung up on the idea that every Lithium battery will cost 25,000 thousand to replace! That in many cases will no longer be true! Federal law requires an 8 year warranty on EV batteries. Most will last well in excess of that! Lifepo 4 batteries do not contain Cobalt and are cheaper to manufacture.
You might want to check out what they are doing around the Salton Sea in California! They are going to extract Lithium from brine as part of Geothermal energy production. Sadly not enough people are talking about Geo thermal electricity production. Its now possible to do in all U.S states. https://www.thinkgeoenergy.com/ctr-achieves-efficient-lithium-extraction-from-salton-sea-geothermal-brine/

LTC (Join to see) - I live on solar so battery tech is important to me. There is a lot battery advances in the pipeline for both green energy storage and for EV use. These won't be for EV's but have you ever heard of these.

Liquid Metal Batteries May Revolutionize Energy Storage
New battery technologies that increase energy efficiency and storage capacity are needed to stabilize aging energy grids

LTC (Join to see) - Who printed those degrees for you? Charmin? Cottonelle? Kleenex?
You mean to tell me that you have more than one degree in a business field and multiple semesters in economics, believe that ESG strategies are bad for businesses and the economy, invested in Petrobas...AND don't know that Petrobas not only abandoned market-based pricing for part of its market in favor of its own internal pricing strategy but is also investing heavily in greening its portfolio? Basically, despite claiming to have this vast educational background, you STILL decided to simply ignore everything that you think you were taught and think you know and invested in a company managed by people whose strategies are, per you, going to wreck the company?
Where can I buy the degrees that you bought? I too would like to pad my resume without actually having to know what I'm talking about. Of course, saying one thing and then doing something that completely contradicts what I just stated I believe in might make me look like a hypocrite, but let's just take one step at a time.

PO3 Justin Bowen I guess you didn't have Navy resiliency training to deal with those who don't think just like you.
It was printed on US Department of Defense paper. I am not Mr Whipple and I didn't squeeze the Charmin like you did.
It's really weird that when you work with the right Navy people, you get invited to Bell ceremonies when someone becomes a chief petty officer. It's great when you work in Afghanistan with a navy commander who was in charge of my provincial reconstruction team when I was an 03. It's great when you work with a navy Lieutenant Commander who happens to be the provincial reconstruction team S3. It was great to be called shipmate and to be treated well by others. It is great when I get to go on a Navy destroyer at Everett Naval Station and my name is announced Lieutenant Colonel Conway United States Army Reserve boarding... but yet I hear garbage from you from someone who's just jealous or upset because I don't follow your political protocol....

Even after selling my Brazilian oil company stock, I got $136 on dividends because I sold it after the date of record
