Lt Col Scott Shuttleworth
So was the kool aid Jim Jones used...So was the Chicken Shit Tim McVey used in OK...so was the serin Gas used in subway attacks...so were propane tank in Columbine...what do all of these have in common...A HUMAN INTERACTION that used these tools like some use guns, knives, crossbows, compound bows, baseball bats, golf clubs. The human is what needs to be fixed not the tool they use! Guns don't point themselves and decide to shoot up a place or people...they require foresight of a human interaction to have the brainto finger interaction to pull that trigger.
I currently have a cousin that is in New Orleans. She recently answered the door and a stranger asked about a packeage that was delivered. She told him there was no such thing there. He left...came back three hours later and knocked again. Her husband went to open the door and he put three in his chest. When they arrested him he was a known felon and had stolen the gun and also had a knife. he was hell bent on doing harm. even my cousin now who is pretty liberal doesn't blame the gun she balmes the system for not locking this clown up when they should have. If they had locked him up previously, this wouldn't have happened. Now her husband is in the hospital fighting daily for his life...the individual did this, not the gun...it was only a tool. My point is this...people who are hell bent on doing harm will find a way to do harm...wheteher it is IED's with propane tanks or it is homemade mustard gas or it is a car driven into a group of people. People are theproblem...guns aren't.

MSgt Robert "Rock" Aldi - Agreed. My point is that the 2nd Amendment is about throwing off the yoke of a tyrannical government and self-defense. Hunting doesn't feed into it.

MSgt Robert "Rock" Aldi - Why is it that the 2nd Amendment is the only right we have that the left questions why we need it? They question the 4th Amendment or the 8th Amendment.
