PO1 Tony Holland I saw this on the news this morning. This is great news. While I am glad that they decided not to publicly reveal the location, and not to disturb the wreck, it looked like the ship's bell was visible in the footage I saw this morning. That would be the one thing that I think they should bring up. They should bring it up, clean it up, and send it to Arlington. The way the CO of that ship was treated following the loss of his ship and most of its crew to enemy action is a part of the tragedy. I think putting the ship's bell in memorium for the crew would be a great thing.
