I've been waiting for this for years. I remember reading about technological predictions reading the human genome years ago. We are quickly approaching this frontier of medical science. What an exciting time! Just think, you are born and know every possible disease you will or could potentially have. Physiological and Psychological the same. You will know how to treat these diseases and when to expect warning signs; possibly when to get check ups. We may be able to go in and modify these genes as adults to stop the chance of getting cancer, ALS, Huntingtons, Alzheimers... Perhaps we could finally unlock the code to naturally regenerating telomerase, which would essentially unlock the potential for eternal youth.. Exciting times.
