Once upon a time "Seeing is believing" was accepted wisdom. Then along came Photoshop. It seems that our ears have now fallen prey to technology. Who (and what) are we to believe? Personally, I continue to scrutinize news like I long have done. I study it like a sculptor. When asked how to create a statue of a horse, a sculptor is said to have responded, "Begin with a stone and remove anything that doesn't look like a horse." Thus, when faced with a pile of dung (news from various sources), remove anything that doesn't look like truth. Yes, just as different sculptors will fashion very different looking horses, you and I may end up with very different looking truths. Such is the nature of art. Deal with it.

Our values have really deteriorated. So much time is devoted to AI that we have lost our values. Who cares if it was a chatbot?
It will easily be proven or not, by eventually asking Trump or the culprit coming forth and boasting.
If you really need to check, check with the phone company as to where the call originated.
