I do not believe the article is correct when it reads made up of radicalized individuals.
To us they are radical. But those individuals are following Muhammad's orders to wage war against Infidels and create a Caliphate.
I found the article wanting as it did not state the Mosques in support of the Islamic State, or the flow of monies as support.
If the support is not dried up, I suggest a Battalion of Infantry with some type of close air support to patrol, close with and destroy the armed Islamic groups.
Question. The area involved, is it controlled by a majority of Muslims?
