I lived there many, many years and noise from local impact range was plenty loud. I never heard of local tribes ever complaining although it's possible. It got to a point where I never really "heard" the shooting. You get use to it and go on with your life. So, how "loud" is a rocket? <wink> Full disclosure...lived on post with family until dad retired and then moved nearby (DuPont). Did my BCT at North Ft. Lewis back "in the day". Family still living just west of the Ft. Lewis golf course still.

I'm sure it happens in many places. Native Americans rights have been disregarded for so long.
