Love my Ruger American Rifle in 5.56 NATO. Got it cheap but it shoots like a high dollar gun.

Interesting that they have yet to get a government contract even though they produce some great weapons.

My sons mini 14 in 300 Blackout is a kick to shoot, just wish it had a pistol grip. If I were going to purchase a long range rifle the Ruger Precision rifle would be a contender.
