Russia has never been overly concerned about it's people or their nutrition. Remember the people in control now are by and large the political/ideological heirs of the people who brought us Holodomor, an artificial famine that starved to death at least 3.9 Million Ukrainians. As much as a million more were deported to Siberia and far eastern Provinces and replaced with ethnic Russian peasants, especially in Crimea. Is it any surprise Ukrainians are resisting the Russians so fiercely?

NFKRZ recounted the tale of destroying Colin Kaepernick shoes when they could have been donated. The Kremlin is our enemy, but the destroyed food could have fed poor civilians.

Interesting how Russian young adults are so much different when they were born after the time of the U.S.S.R and did not experience the Cold War era in Russia. Russians had little or no direct access to anything going on outside of U.S.S.R. They had to put their names on a list to wait to buy a car, a t.v., get a larger apartment, phone service . . . and there were the Gulags, and the training in Usa Russia of sleeper agents.. None of that is "underground" and unknown these days - probably still going on, but not as cloak and dagger these days (which is costly to maintain).
