I hope troops are ready for cold weather training. We need some military bases further north and we will need a stronger Canada. Russia could win a lot of natural resources...and sell them to us at a big profit.

Climate change will necessitate us to put more money into defense in Alaska and in the Canadian military. At this time, Canada only puts in 1.2% of GDP for defense. Today was the 70th anniversary of NATO and even the Secretary General of NATO agree that President Trump's efforts are putting pressure on those countries, like Canada, to put more money into defense and some of that money will go into defending the great white North.
