I still say that had we kept troops in Iraq the Civil War wouldn't have spread and made I feel so big and rock I mean I've been established had it not taken all the war booty from Iraq and I feel the president making a campaign promise to pull us out in 2008 is going to be haunting us for many decades

I agree that we should have stayed in Iraq and stabilized the region. I would add that we should also never have gotten involved in the entire "Arab Spring" and subsequent regime change efforts in SWA and Northern Africa.

We never should have instigated, got involved in, chose sides in, whatever you want to call it, in a Syrian civil war to begin with.
