Was this really a "cyber-attack"? I haven't seen any evidence that anyone altered computer processing of the balloting process. The meddling complained of seems to be limited to misinformation campaigns such as using bots to post on discussion threads or to sponsor rallies, all to influence voting. To be fair, it seems no more damaging than any other propaganda campaign such as those carried out by American news media and political donors. I'm sure that the interviewee in this podcast has his own agenda, to raise an alarm that will help him secure business
