Russian soldier ‘says commander shot himself in leg to get out of Ukraine’

Seems extreme. Next time just tell them you have bone spurs. I hear that works a treat.

That happens in War, some folks will do anything to get out.
I wonder in ancient times if they impaled themselves, that would have to hurt more than a bullet because what goes in must come out. A bullet that close will do both in an instant.

I'm sure that won't help his career any ;)
