Nothing we put up with is worth Killing yourself over. I know there are a lot of medical issues, clinical depression ect ect that effect people but if you know one of your people is suffering or on the edge get them the help they need. A commands rubber stamp of "good to go" gets more people killed in my opinion. I have seen commands rubber stamp GtG on systems they know are broken, on people they know are not qualified all in the name of "Well we need the qual / cert / evolution done) This is why the Fitz and the McCain happen, this is why the Air Force lost Nukes, this is why we had our people detained in the Gulf by Iran.
Watch your people and hold your commands accountable for that Rubber Stamp.

I'm not seeing much new but I sure do not understand, "The investigator recommended that the submariner’s injuries be found to have occurred “in the line of duty and not due to his own misconduct,” a finding endorsed by SUBLANT." How does that happen when you Shoot yourself?
The redactions make this report almost useless, but it is nice reading. Now I am just waiting for the for the Paul Harvey.
