Enjoyed opportunity to talk this AM live from Bagram Airbase in Afghanistan with Major General John Thomson, commanding officer of the US Army First Cavalry Division. Gen. Thomson was an Army football player at West Point where he graduated Class of '86. His delegation from the First Cav arrived in Afghanistan in September. We appreciate the service of all US Military members especially those serving overseas. Gen Thomson joins the call about 12 - 14 minutes in. Many thanks to Lt. Col. Good luck to the Black Knights as they face Notre Dame in San Antonio, this weekend. Sagarin favors the Fighting Irish by only 8.91 points and that's not insurmountable. Plus, the game is not in South Bend, so they'll have that going for them as well.
