I was scrolling through Facebook and happened upon this.....
Do people really lack any remote sense of decency and respect these days? The people here showed a lot more restraint than I could have in not saying or doing anything. My immediate reaction when I saw it was "I'd like to grab his face like a bowling ball and drag his punk @$$ out of there."

I've been to this ceremony countless times. At the beginning of each guard change, the Sergeant of the Relief faces the entire audience, explains the ceremony and its significance, and then strongly requests silence and standing (unless someone is incapacitated). I honestly don't know what this person's motivations were, SSG (Join to see). I do know what the sergeant strongly requests. I've seen them pause, wait for complete quiet and for ALL to stand before facing about to begin the ceremony. EVERYONE knows what's expected. When I took my son, he stood with me at attention.
