I agree the use of force policies need to be examined but do not believe all choke holds, etc should be banned outright. If police officers were larger and could take command of a situation then the use of various restraint techniques might not be necessary but they are not. There are just too many police officers that do not have the physical size to handle someone resisting. Not condoning the continued prolonged use of those techniques, just saying throwing them all out might well put police officers lives at risk.
