Very interesting Dale; however, since the virus is acidic, the counterattack would be an alkaline treatment. A doctor in India suggested that the virus attacks humans through the nasal passages. He suggested mashing gingerroot pieces and placing one mashed piece of ginger, which is alkaline, into each nostril twice daily for a few seconds and inhaling. He said that after the momentary inhalation of mashed gingerroot, blow your nose clean. In this manner, the virus is neutralized and prevented from spreading infection.

Although this treatment resembles a local ayurvedic treatment with the root and given the virus is acidic, this gingerroot treatment make some sense.
