I love the Thompson, CW5 Jack Cardwell. It’s one of the most beautifully crafted (internal especially) weapons I’ve ever held. However, it’s heavy as lead and I’d hate to drag that thing with me all the time!

Ever seen the movie, Miller’s Crossing, SGT Gregory Lawritson? Leo O’Bannon (Albert Finney) has a shootout scene where you would think the Thompson had an endless belt feed as opposed to a hundred round drum!
Watch the video! How does Leo survive fire from TWO Thompsons, protected only by his bed? How does he fire multiple rounds without the damn gun pointing at the sky?
Hollywood!

I've shot the Thompson and the M3 Grease gun both are fun to fire. Nice share.
