Reminds me of the scene from Superman, The Movie, when he catches Lois Lane who has fallen from a helicopter crashed atop a skyscrapper. "Don't worry, Miss," Superman reassures Lois, "I got you." And she retorts, "Who's got you?" Well, California is no Superman and this is no fantasy... [BTW, anyone still gonna move here?]

I'm waiting for an outbreak of Plague in the Greater L.A. Area. I'm hoping that they City Father's get infected. Then they'll do something. I grew up about 7 miles from L.A. I was there when the 1965 Riot took place. That whole area is now a real shithole, literally. As a kid, I played and hunted in the LA River bottom before they made it all Concrete. It's going to take an outbreak of Thyphus, Typhoid, or even Cholera to get them to do anything. Only when THEIR Family's are threatened. It's a Democratic Stronghold just like Chicago and New York. It will spread across the Nation because of Air Travel out of Los Angeles.
