The Second Amendment is not about to end. Just because there is legislation being proposed and considered doesn't mean it's going to be passed into law. This video is a bit hysterical.

When I grew up cigarettes were every where. Now they are banned every where. It all started in small steps!

The aim is to pass a law that appears benign and opens the door for more expanded laws and then you get to the point of simply not having the 2 amendment. cigarettes are not the best analogy but the principal is the same. get a small foot hold and then expand on the foot hold with in 10-15 years since by then you have a generation who have not experienced what was taken away and they don't see it as something worth fighting for. The harm is' not in what the bills clearly spell out its those vague open ended langue that is unclear until they use it to take away something the law was not meant to do.

PFC Michael Korach - I agree that's what they're trying to do. They want to arbitrarily redefine the 2nd Amendment as being the state's right to have a militia, not the people's right to keep and bear arms. Of course, having activist liberal judges willing to legislate from the bench makes their work a whole lot easier -- which is why Trump getting elected was so YUGE!
One of my best friends from my youth happens to be very liberal/progressive, and he hates the fact that Trump nominated a non-liberal to the bench. He wanted Hillary's judges, and he couldn't wait to get a case in front of the Supreme Court so the Heller decision could get overturned. That's the way they think. I love the guy, but he couldn't be more wrong.

It takes more than congress passing a law to do away with the second amendment. Since it is in the constitution, it would take a constitutional convention to do away with it! And those bills mentioned if passed would immediately be shot down by the supreme court as unconstitutional.

MSgt Danny Hope - True, but by the time the case was heard, the president will most likely appoint another SC Judge and the conservative majority will be in place at SCOTUS.

This sounds like someone that has been listening to snowflake tactics. You do not need histarea when new stupid legislation is proposed. Most of these will not even get out of committee. Why? Because you should have already let your representative know how you feel and you should have helped a pro second amendment rep be in the legislature in the first place. This is a "the sky is falling" rant in my book.
