Thanks for the read. Anytime I read someone's comment that declares "Russia did not successfully hack or alter votes or ballots so why is this a big deal" I shake my head in disgust. If a bank robber doesn't successfully rob a bank don't we still charge them with a crime; that's how I see attempts by any foreign entity that tries to meddle in our election system regardless the outcome.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel
MAJ James Woods Attempts on 21 States, 2 States have admitted that they were notified by Homeland Security and NSA. The rest are Mum, Names of States were not released in Open Testimony. As a Retired Spook No Way in Hell that I would believe that they Were Not Successful to Some Degree and even Minor in a Close Election is a Major "Big Deal". I will say that I think the Russians were Far More Successful in their Disinformation Campaign though.

MAJ James Woods
PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - Exactly. All 50 states had reported zero successful hacked voting machines when the issue first came out in January; but the attempt to do so is a major issue that should be addressed as a national security issue. And the disinformation campaign definitely was successful considering foreign operatives merely latched on the already on-going far right conspiracy media. The far right hatred of Obama set the stage for foreign information operations to infiltrate.
