This is an interesting idea. There are problems not anticipated by Schumer etc. The recent power outages in California left owners of electric vehicles with out transportation since they could not charge them. A physician recently burned to death in a Tesla when the batteries caught on fire because the door locks and handles didn’t work. The whole plan is based on cash for clunkers. Is this just another waste of tax payers money again?

Those continued power outages will lower families overall incomes down. Loss of time at work.

What an idiotic idea!!! He does not know of what he speaks, lots of fossil fuels go into making an "electric" car plus all the extra costs that will be required such as fueling stations, longer range batteries, and so on.Another climate change scare job, watch out tax payers.
