PO1 William "Chip" Nagel am I the only one who finds it ironic that the states with so much history of embracing freedom during the birth of a nation are now the states that are trying to repress freedom. Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts were all states where our freedoms were shaped. Now they filibuster because they don't get their way on gun control. The founding fathers from those states must be so proud. "Give me liberty or I will filibuster forever!" Just doesn't have the same ring to it.

Although it isn't a bad thing to ban gun sales to people placed on security watch lists. The problem is many have not committed any crime. So we begin to walk a fine line on civil liberties. Who's to say if this is the new practice that those being investigated by a federal agency can not run for President?

Probably the Best Debating Point against it. We need to do something though but I don't claim to have all the answers.

There are ways around that, ways should exist for challenging no-fly list placement as well as no buy.

How stupid are we as a country not to realize that this is a progressive, leftist attempt to take our rights away. How many lawful gun owners commit crimes or are Muslim jihadists murderers? Delusional occupant and liar at White House, you know damn well the answer to that, BE Half à man and admit that your favorite radical muslims are responsable for these massacres, WHAT? Are you calling This "workplace violence"?
